Individual Mindfulness Meditation Program

1:1 Guided Mindfulness Meditation sessions for enhanced well-being, self-regulation, and awareness.   Angela has over 20 years personal experience in meditation and is an accredited Mindfulness Meditation Teacher with Meditation Association of Australia, one of the most reputable meditation associations in Australia.

Our 1:1 guided mindfulness meditation sessions provides a personalized, evidence-based approach to developing self-regulation, enhancing attention, reducing stress, and fostering deeper interoceptive awareness, the foundation to emotional regulation.  Research demonstrates that mindfulness meditation can support both mind and body by promoting calm, emotional stability, and a greater sense of awareness.

In each session, participants will learn mindfulness techniques that activate the body’s natural relaxation response while building skills in:

- Self-Regulation: Understand their nervous system, manage emotions and reactions, building resilience and emotional balance. Did you know mindfulness meditation can expand your 'Window of Tolerance', 

- Increased Interoception:

Our internal body awareness that detects and interprets signals about pain, hunger, thirst, toileting, bodily sensations, and emotions.

It is the foundation for identifying and understanding emotions by linking bodily sensations to specific emotional states.
- Improved Awareness & Mindfulness: Cultivate a heightened awareness of thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations, leading to greater insight and thoughtful responses.
- Enhanced Focus & Attention: Strengthen attention and cognitive clarity, supporting productivity and mindful engagement.
- Reduced Anxiety & Stress:  Mindfulness meditation helps lower stress hormones and promotes a stable mood for emotional balance.

Mindfulness Meditation

Sound Immersion Meditation

Close your eyes and let the rhythm of your breath guide you into a space of serenity and stillness.

We warmly invite you to join us in the gentle embrace of our group meditation incorporating soothing sounds from our percussion instruments. Here everyone is welcomed into a sanctuary of tranquility, understanding, and connection. Led by a neuroaffirming Occupational Therapist, and accredited Mindfulness Meditation Facilitator, our gathering offers a safe haven for you to unwind, nurture your nervous system, and find inner peace amidst life's journey.

Immerse yourself in the healing resonance of ancient sounds, replenishing your spirit and nurture your well-being along the way.

Maximum of 12 attendees. This will depend on venue space and is outlined on our online bookings below.

This is a  community event and is a non-NDIS funded event.

FAQ

Do I need a referral? 

No referral is required to access Occupational Therapy services.  If you would like to access a Medicare rebate, this is under the discretion of your GP under the Chronic Disease Management Plan. â€‹

How far do you travel and is there are fee?

We cover the Gold Coast, travelling between Pimpama and Coolangatta.  Travels fees are apportioned between clients within close vicinity on the same day.

Do you communicate with my child's allied health team e.g. Speech Therapist?

Yes. We believe in a whole team approach for best practice in working towards your child's goals. This can entail collaboration  with educational and healthcare providers via phone, email and case conferences.

What is the cancellation policy?

Individual Occupational Therapy  scheduled appointments require 24 hours notice to cancel a session or a  100% cancellation fee is charged.
